Unexpected/ Mercedes now has her own laptop

During Computex 2023 currently taking place in Taipei, an unexpected collaboration has been noticed: a computer hardware giant joining forces with one of the leading companies in the automotive industry.

Going into details, Mercedes has teamed up with MSI for its first laptop. 

Meet the Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport, a device that aspires to combine the performance and elegance of MSI and Mercedes-AMG.

The laptop is gray in color with the branding of both companies on its lid. Of course, the well-known MSI dragon hides more modestly in the lower right corner.

As for the hardware inside, the computer is equipped with modern specifications. It has an Intel Core i9-13900H CPU, combined with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 or 4070 GPU. The laptop's screen is 16 inches, OLED technology, with a resolution of 3840 x 2400 (16:10). The amount of available RAM and storage is not specified by MSI as it will vary by country. However, the system will support up to 64GB of DDR5-5200 and have two M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen 4 ports for SSDs.

Of course, it's not just the specs that capture the spirit of Mercedes-AMG. The laptop's aesthetics also reflect its motorsport influences. The shared logo will also adorn the external power supply, while a similar carbon fiber pattern will be present on the Space key, the button to open the selection will be labeled 'Start Engine', while the air vents above the keyboard will read 'AMG'.

The Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport will come with a mouse, a mousepad, a USB stick, a power supply pouch and some trading cards, all with similar visuals. The price and release date of the luxury laptop have not been announced, but most likely those interested will have to dig deep into their pockets./ Adapted from CNA.al
