2007 iPhone sells for $190,000 at auction

Apple phones usually lose their value the moment they leave the store.

But there are some special cases, such as that of an auction in the United States, where an unopened first-edition iPhone with 4 gigabytes of memory was sold for $190,372.

Not many such phones were produced in that period, making it very special for iPhone collectors.

There were 28 participants in the competition to buy the phone in question.

The phone was sold at auction for about 400 times more than its original price.

Released for the first time in 2007 by the former leader of the company, Steve Jobs, Apple has decided to remove from the market this phone with 4 gigabytes of memory due to stagnation in sales.

Most people have decided, back then, to buy the version with 8 gigabytes of memory, which was launched at the same time.

Very often, various things of Jobs are sold at auctions.

Recently, some poems he wrote in high school, photos of himself in college and other documents have been sold.

Steve Jobs, co-founder of the Apple company, died in 2011, at the age of 56, from pancreatic cancer.

He has introduced the products to the world: iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad./ REL
