"Instagram" brings a new 'trick' to make photo posts more

Instagram, the popular photo and video platform, is now testing a new way to make standard photo posts more engaging. In particular, Instagram will soon allow its users to add songs to their photo posts.

The announcement was made by Mark Zuckerberg himself, the founder and head of Meta. More specifically, he revealed that the feature is already accessible in some countries, while there are plans for wider availability worldwide.

It's worth noting that Instagram has long had a feature for adding songs to individual photos. However, incorporating music into photo posts makes even more sense, with Zuckerberg noting:

It makes more sense to add music to a photo post. This way you have more time to listen to the song while looking at multiple photos.

Additionally, Instagram is experimenting with adding music to Notes as well. This is the feature that allows users to share statuses with their friends, which are displayed above the message inbox. The user's friends will be able to see the song title and artist displayed on the Note. 

Zuckerberg showed in a short video how users can select and add part of a song to a Note, similar to adding music to individual posts or Reels.
