The mobile phone is already a personal item that we can hardly separate from ourselves. Choosing a smartphone for many is important as it can help them in their work because they have reached the point where they are able to offer an all-in-one package. But for others it is just an accessory to look trendy.

They want their mobile to stand out and others want it to be more customized to their tastes. But especially iPhone users have many color options with each new series of models as Apple makes sure to produce them in many colors. 

But according to Kate Smith, a psychologist from Arlington, Virginia, iPhone users' choice of phone color reveals something about their personality. 

Speaking to the Wall Street Journal,  she categorized exactly what each iPhone color says about its owner and personality. Check out her breakdown below: 

Lavender:  People who appreciate the complexity of life are more attracted to this color. Even pop culture influences can draw them towards purple.

Decisive Red:  People drawn to this fiery hue are attention-seeking extroverts who value their strong opinions.

Passionate Green:  Green iPhones suggest intelligence and a "community"-focused mentality, but lighter versions of it show more empathy.

Trust Blue:  Owners of blue phones, said Ms. Smith, are likely to be "trustworthy or want to be trusted", but they have their quirks and - most importantly - a tendency to daydream.

Powerful Black:  Classic and classy, ??a black phone can inspire confidence and insight. It is a shade that also means restrained power./CNA.al
