Amazon, free training on the use of artificial intelligence

US tech giant Amazon announced on Monday that it will launch a free program to train people on how to use artificial intelligence (AI).

Amazon.com announced the launch of its AI Ready program, which will provide skills development training and education to two million people worldwide by 2025.

The US company said its aim is to make artificial intelligence accessible to anyone who wants to learn.

“Artificial intelligence is the most transformative technology of our generation. If we want to unlock the full potential of artificial intelligence to tackle the world's most challenging problems, then we need to make AI education accessible to everyone who wants to learn," said Swami Sivasubramanian, vice president of data and AI. on Amazon.

"The goal of the 'AI Ready' [program] is to help make AI education equitable for all, by supporting the new initiatives we're taking today," he stressed.

He added that Amazon will enhance its current free AI training programs and courses "so we can remove cost as a barrier to access to these critical skills."/ REL
