An artificial intelligence expert has told The Sun how artificial intelligence is changing the job market, but not everyone should be concerned.

AI expert and CEO of Carruthers and Jackson Caroline Carruthers explained how the job market will be transformed.

He said: “It will completely transform the job market, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will be harder to find a job. Like any new technology, AI will create a number of new jobs that we hadn't thought of before.

Although AI is set to create new jobs, there are concerns that it could eliminate other roles.

Carruthers doesn't think people should worry if they aren't ready to embrace new technology.

The expert told The US Sun: "The only people who will have a harder time finding a job will be those who are unwilling to embrace AI as a tool."

It is hoped that AI will help people with jobs, rather than replace them.

According to the McKinsey Global Institute report, about 30 percent of work activities may end up being automated by AI./ CNA
