Premier League verdicts/ Tottenham escape, Arsenal lift the title. City and Liverpool suffer

The final week of the Premier League determined the final verdicts of the season, with Arsenal being declared champions and winning 2-1 against Crystal Palace in the final match. Mikel Arteta's team ended the championship in first place with 85 points, 7 more than Manchester City.

The Citizens were defeated 2-1 by Aston Villa, in an emotional match that marked the departure of Pep Guardiola after 10 years on the bench. The match was also the last for Bernardo Silva and John Stones in the City shirt. In this match, there was no shortage of tears from the protagonists at the end of this adventure.

Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Aston Villa and Liverpool qualified for the Champions League. Mohamed Salah played his last game for Liverpool and was seen in tears after the match against Brentford.  

Tottenham secured survival thanks to a 1-0 win over Everton, while West Ham were relegated despite a 3-0 win over Leeds. Bournemouth and Sunderland secured Europa League places, while Brighton will play in the Conference League.
