Uldedaj makes history, Albanian boxer declared world champion

Jurgen Uldedaj has been declared the IBO (International Boxing Organization) world champion, after winning the match against Cameroonian Rolly Lambert Fogoum.

This is a historic moment for Albanian sport, as it is the first time an Albanian boxer has won a world title in this organization. The match was balanced in the early rounds, but Uldedaj managed to take control and win by decision of the judges.

This success elevates the Albanian to the highest level of professional boxing and concludes with a positive result a long international journey. So far, he has 21 career victories, of which 12 by knockout. Over the years, Uldedaj has held important titles such as “WBO Youth”, “WBC Youth”, “IBF International”, “WBA Inter-Continental” and “IBO Mediterranean”.

Even though he trains between Germany and England, he continues to compete under the Albanian flag, representing the country in the most prestigious arenas in the world.
