Betrayal in Serie A? Maignan wanted by Milan rivals

At Milan, the future of goalkeeper Mike Maignan continues to be one of the most discussed issues of the moment. Despite a decisive performance in the last derby against Inter, where his saves had an impact on the result, the relationship between the player and the club seems cold.

Recent reports suggest that tensions began around a year ago, when Milan presented an initial renewal offer, which was deemed inappropriate by the player and his management team. This offer, interpreted as an underestimation, has created deep resentment in the French goalkeeper.

In this situation, Maignan does not seem willing to renew his current contract, which expires in June. Milan are expected to return with a new offer, the same as the initial one, around 5 million euros per season, but the goalkeeper is unlikely to change his mind.

This has immediately opened up new scenarios for his future. Premier League clubs are the first to show interest.

Meanwhile, Juventus are also on the scene, assessing the situation of current goalkeeper Di Gregorio. The black and white club have reportedly started surveys for a possible transfer, seeing Maignan as a credible option for the future.
