Tensions at maximum, Ronaldo heading towards leaving Saudi Arabia

Cristiano Ronaldo's future in Saudi Arabia has become a topic of discussion, as he has refused to play in the upcoming match between Al Nassr and Al Ittihad.

The Portuguese forward has been protesting in recent days, not playing and missing training. According to reports, the cause of the dissatisfaction is Ronaldo's belief that some teams in the Saudi League are favored over others.

A key element in this situation was Karim Benzema's move to Al Hilal, the team leading the championship. Ronaldo has warned the club and league leaders that he is ready to leave Saudi Arabia.

There is a €50m release clause in his contract. The Saudi league has officially reacted, denying any preferential treatment. Al Nassr, meanwhile, expects the situation to calm down in the coming days.
