Fenerbahçe does not stop / Kante is made official, Al Hilal striker is being tried

Fenerbahçe has officially announced the transfer of N'Golo Kante from Al-Ittihad, after a dramatic saga in the final hours of the transfer window.

The transfer risked falling through due to technical errors in FIFA's TMS system on the part of the Saudi club, but the insistence of both parties led FIFA to accept the documentation. The former world champion has signed a contract that will keep him in Istanbul until 2028.

However, Fenerbahçe are not stopping there. The Turkish giants have opened talks with Al-Hilal for striker Darwin Nunez. The Uruguayan is reportedly unhappy in Saudi Arabia, especially after the recent transfer of Karim Benzema to Al-Hilal, which threatens his place in the lineup.

Fenerbahçe is looking to bring Nunez on loan with an option to buy, as the ideal replacement for Youssef En-Nesyri, who left for Al-Ittihad.
