Vrioni finds a new team, transfers to Italy. Teammate with the national team striker

Giacomo Vrioni is expected to be Cesena's next reinforcement in the offensive department. The Albanian striker is currently a free agent after completing his experience in MLS.

Before the officialization, he will undergo medical examinations and is then expected to join the Serie B club. At Cesena, Vrioni will also find Kristian Shpendi, becoming another Italian-Albanian in the squad.

His career has spanned several European leagues and the United States. His most recent experience in MLS was marred by injuries, which limited his playing time.

Vrioni previously played in Serie A with Juventus and in Serie B with Venezia. The signing with Cesena could also serve as an opportunity for a return to the Albanian national team.
