Serie A/ Dybala honours Roma, the yellow and reds join Napoli at the top

In the eighth week of Serie A, Roma defeated Sassuolo with a minimum score of 1-0 at the "Mapei Stadium", moving up to the top of the standings along with Napoli.

Paulo Dybala scored the only goal of the match in the 16th minute, finding the net in the championship after more than eight months. Gasperini's team dominated the second half, but were stopped by the post and by the saves of goalkeeper Muric. Sassuolo tried to equalize, but without success.

In the other matches of the week, Torino defeated Genoa 2-1 at the Olimpico. Despite the visitors' initial advantage with Thorsby, an own goal by Sabelli and a goal by Maripan in the 90th minute gave the home team the victory.

Meanwhile, Verona and Cagliari were held to a 2-2 draw at Bentegodi, with the hosts coming back from two goals down in the second half to secure a valuable away point.
