The analysis is based on around 20,000 official international matches played since 1978. According to this simulation, Spain has a 26% chance of winning the trophy, leaving behind France with 19% and Argentina with 14%.

Brazil follows with an 8% chance of success and England with a 5% chance of success. The model takes into account factors such as the national team's ranking, current form, the number of goals scored and conceded, as well as psychological and geographical elements.

According to the analysis, Spain is favored by good form and efficiency in attack. The simulation also predicts a possible quarter-final between Argentina and Portugal, which could be the last confrontation in a World Cup between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. The predicted final is Spain-Argentina, with the Iberians the favorites to win the title.
