Bad "clashes" between fans in the derby, Torino-Juventus suspended

Violent clashes between ultras groups were recorded before the start of the Torino-Juventus match in the area near the away section of the "Olimpico Grande Torino" stadium.

The situation has degenerated into attacks on law enforcement, who have been forced to use tear gas to disperse the crowd and bring the situation under control.

During these incidents, several supporters of both camps were escorted and arrested by police agents. A 45-year-old Juventus fan was seriously injured in the head and was urgently transported to hospital, but according to doctors his life is not in danger.

In protest of this incident, the black and white ultras refused to enter the stands and asked captain Manuel Locatelli not to take the field. Due to these tensions, the teams remained in the locker rooms and the match did not start at the scheduled time, unlike the other four Serie A matches that started regularly.

Manager Damien Comolli confirmed that the match will be played, while fans have threatened to invade the pitch if the starting whistle is blown.
