The Albanian Football Federation has published detailed data regarding the physical performance of the Albanian National Team in the qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup.

The data includes statistics on the maximum speed achieved by players during group matches, where Albania finished the qualifying phase in second place, behind England, ensuring participation in the play-offs.

After the recent draw, the red and black team has learned that it will face Poland in the semi-finals, and in case of qualification, the opponent in the final will be the winner of the Ukraine-Sweden match.

The analysis published by the Albanian Football Association (AFC) includes the individual statistics of the five fastest players on the national team during this qualifying phase.

According to this data, Nedim Bajrami was the player with the highest speed recorded, reaching up to 34.18 kilometers per hour in one of his sprints. This indicator places Bajrami at the top of the list in terms of physical capacity and high intensity in the offensive and transition phases.

In second place is Arbër Hoxha, who reached a speed of 32.98 kilometers per hour, confirming his role as a player with high dynamism on the wing.

Meanwhile, Armando Broja and Myrto Uzuni share third place in this ranking, as both have recorded identical speeds of 32.23 kilometers per hour. Both players have shown significant physical improvement after returning from injuries and have contributed to the offensive phase with quick and penetrating movements.

The list of the five fastest players is completed by Mario Mitaj, the left-back who has reached a speed of 31.47 kilometers per hour. This indicator highlights his ability to cope with a high volume of running in defensive and offensive phases, especially in situations where space coverage on the wing is required.
