Dortmund "locks" second place, Brandt plays his farewell match

Borussia Dortmund have defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 3-2, officially securing second place in the Bundesliga for the 2025/26 season.

The match started with Can Uzun's goal for the visitors (2'), but Dortmund responded with Serhou Guirassy (42') and Nico Schlotterbeck (45+1').

In the second half, 18-year-old Samuele Inácio scored the third goal for the home team, while Jonathan Burkardt narrowed the gap for Frankfurt in stoppage time.

This challenge also marked Julian Brandt's farewell from "Signal Iduna Park", as the midfielder will leave the club this summer.

With this victory, Dortmund reaches 70 points, while Frankfurt risks remaining outside the European zone depending on Freiburg's results.
