Tare risks leaving, Milan has a replacement ready

Igli Tare's future as sporting director at AC Milan is uncertain, according to recent reports from Italian media.

Sports journalist Niko Schira has announced that the former Albanian striker's position in the Rossoneri management staff is no longer secure.

The name of Toni D'Amico, who has currently held the same position at Atalanta since 2022, is being circulated as the main candidate to take on this task.

A possible departure of Tare would be considered unexpected, as his current contract with the red and black club expires in the summer of next year.

This discussion on the management structure comes at a time when Milan holds third place in the Italian championship classification, being within the zone that ensures participation in the Champions League.

There has been no official confirmation from the club regarding potential moves in the technical department, however, the interest in D'Amico suggests that there could be changes to the club's long-term strategy.

The situation remains under monitoring, as the end of the season is expected to clarify Tara's position.
