"Symphony of Life"/ "3-Dhjetori" Special School is equipped

A professional room has been inaugurated at the "3-Dhjetori" Special School in Shkodra, which will help children with disabilities identify their talents.

"This room has a function to prepare students for a future profession. Through this room we will identify their special talents and gifts and aim to develop them," says Enkeleda Mataj, director of the "3-Dhjetori" special school.

It was one of the city's private schools that, through the "Symphony of Life" project, implemented this idea that their students had during their professional internship. The goal was to help children with special abilities.

"The direction of our school is working with projects and we said why not do this in our city. It was a beautiful experience, but it also had its difficulties, we had difficulties both in budget and time, so the time limit we had, but with the resources we had we did our best to do what the school needed", said Majlinda Gokaj, director of the 'Maarif' school.

For the director of education in Shkodra, such initiatives are always necessary and, in addition to providing assistance, they also come as awareness-raising messages.

"The opportunities that the '3-Dhjetori' school offers these students are opportunities invested by the local and central government. But this form was more special because a private institution offers it to a state institution and this is different", said Brisela Kadia, Director of the Shkodër ZVA.

At the "3-Dhjetori" special school, around 70 students with disabilities receive education. Through various contributions, this school has had several additions with rooms and necessary therapeutic spaces for these children. /CNA
