Meeting on the strengthening of the Parliament/ Peleshi hosts the EU Ambassador, Gonzato

The Speaker of the Parliament, Niko Peleshi, hosted today in a meeting the head of the European Union delegation in Tirana, Silvio Gonzato.

Through a post on social media, Peleshi shared footage from the meeting, while also emphasizing the start of the implementation of the program on strengthening and increasing the performance of the Assembly.

"Today with Ambassador Silvio Gonzato for the start of the implementation of the program on strengthening and increasing the performance of the Assembly in the legislative process, parliamentary oversight and transparency. The program also focuses on strengthening the leadership of the Assembly in the EU accession process and expanding cooperation with civil society, the media, interest groups and citizens. At the end of this legislature, the Assembly of Albania aims to achieve the standards of a parliament of a European Union member state", - writes Peleshi. /CNA
