A debate was held in the Committee on Culture, Tourism and Diaspora between Chairwoman Ina Zhupa and Deputy Chairwoman Erion Malaj.
The debate was sparked by a request by Deputy Malaj to remove public hearings on a draft law from the committee's work calendar for January.
Debate:
Malaj: Public hearings should be removed, due to the workload of several sessions and over 50 draft laws. But we cannot vote today on what we will have on the calendar in January.
Zhupa: Why is anyone stopping us? Tell me which point of the regulation is stopping him. Or is Taulant stopping him?
Malaj: Taulant is not here.
Zhupa: It's not here, it's in your mind and heart.
Malaj: I'm telling you, put in the proposal the removal of the hearings for this project from the December calendar. / CNA
