Social Security Agreement between Albania and Poland is signed

The Social Security Agreement between Albania and Poland was signed today in Warsaw.

As announced by the Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj, together with the Polish Deputy Minister Sebastian Gajewski, this agreement guarantees mutual protection and benefits for Albanian and Polish citizens in the field of social security.

The agreement guarantees the recognition and aggregation of insurance periods, the right to a pension according to the legal age and the protection of the rights of citizens who have lived or worked in both countries. Every contribution paid will be recognized and no period of work will be lost.

This is the 11th agreement that Albania has with European Union countries on the recognition of retirement ages and the 17th in total with other countries. /CNA
