“No Short Term” Campaign/ OSCE Ambassador Tarran: Let's protect

The OSCE Ambassador to Albania, Michel Tarran, participated today in the presentation of the "No More Shkurt" campaign, an initiative in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice, which aims to raise awareness among young people about the risks of involvement in illegality and crime.

In his speech, Tarran emphasized that this campaign aims to protect young people as an investment in their future, as a trend of their involvement in criminal activities at a young age has been noticed in the region.

“This campaign reflects our commitment to protecting young people and investing in their future. This activity comes at a very opportune moment. Across the region, we are seeing young people getting involved in criminal activities at an ever younger age. Organized crime groups are targeting young people, often using them to evade prosecution. The OSCE is proud to partner with the Ministry of Justice to respond to this challenge through the ‘No Short Cut’ campaign. The goal is clear, to create a credible counter-narrative. The campaign debunks false promises, shows that success is built through effort, perseverance and integrity, not shortcuts. We look forward to the expansion of this campaign to the main social media platforms in Albania and its reach to new audiences across the country,” said Tarran. /CNA
