Debate in the Mandates Council/ DP: You dragged out the issue, the meeting

The meeting at the Mandates Council where SPAK's request to lift Belinda Balluku's immunity is being reviewed has begun with debates.

DP MPs have stated that justice has been obstructed for two months and the Constitution and the Rules of Procedure have been violated.

They also requested that the meeting be held with open doors.

"In principle, the meetings of the Assembly bodies are open and there is no reason for this meeting to be held behind closed doors. You, Mr. Speaker, have the obligation to put this to a vote. You cannot hide from the public the theft of millions of euros by Belinda Balluku, or the complicity of Edi Rama in this matter," Gaz Bardhi declared./ CNA
