Berisha meets diaspora representatives: Potesta near embassies and international

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a meeting this Saturday at the DP headquarters with representatives of the diaspora.

As the leader of the democrats himself announced through a post on social media, during the meeting, a call was made for protests from the diaspora near embassies and international institutions.

"Today, during a meeting with representatives of the diaspora at the headquarters of the Democratic Party, I sounded a national alarm on the critical situation the country is in. I described the current government as a dictatorial regime that has exceeded even the previous dictatorship in national harm, putting Albania on the path to demographic extinction.

During my speech, I presented shocking data on the state of the population:

"In terms of national damage, this government is more harmful than the other one, because that regime persecuted 120 thousand Albanians, sent 40 thousand to concentration camps, shot 60 thousand. While this regime, in just 10 years, has removed 45% of Albanians from Albania, and we do not understand that we are running towards extinction. From 1990 to 2026, births have decreased by 74%. The aging of the population has occurred at a rate 300% greater than in Europe. According to all demographic calculations, after 50 years Albania will no longer exist as a country of Albanians."

I denounced what I call the “legal shield for theft”, an unprecedented practice where the Prime Minister uses the law to protect rampant corruption. The European Union cannot accept this model and is prepared to return Albania’s integration process to “ground zero”.

I pointed out the dramatic change in the number of employees in the administration, which has gone up to 240 thousand salaried employees from 97 thousand before. This is an attempt to hold 240 thousand families hostage through the state salary, preventing their children from rising up against the regime.

I called on all Albanians, wherever they are, to see this not as a partisan battle, but as a battle for the existence of Albania.

Protests in the diaspora: Full mobilization near Albanian embassies and international institutions.

Vote protection: Every citizen who believes in the punishment of theft and the European path should be in the square.

Peaceful protest: General mobilization against the Rama–Balluku regime to return legitimacy to the country.

"This battle is completely winnable. International media is reflecting our reality because corruption is being protected here. We must show the free countries who really governs in Albania," Berisha writes. /CNA
