Date revealed/Here's when the new national opposition protest will be held

The Albanian opposition, led by the Democratic Party, appears set to continue national protests. 

Through a message from the Democratic Party of Albania (DP) leader Sali Berisha, addressed to all party structures, the next protest will be held next Saturday, February 28th.

Sali Berisha's full message:

"Message Addressed to All Structures of the Democratic Party:

Addressed to: Members of the Presidency of the Democratic Party, political leaders of the regions, heads of DP branches, members of the parliamentary group, mayors and councilors of municipalities, members of the National Council and all our members and supporters!

Dear friends,

With this message, I would like to warmly congratulate all of you on the new, very important success we achieved on February 20, thanks to your commitment, dedication, courage, and determination.

Yesterday, on a historic date, we marked for national and international public opinion a new and extremely valuable victory for the final success of our peaceful uprising. The echo of this success invaded yesterday, with unprecedented speed, the communication space as well as the minds and hearts of Albanians and free people around the world.

So, starting tomorrow, with the energy and inspiration of February 20, let's begin the next battle with dedication! Let's knock on every door, in every neighborhood, block, street and alley, in every village and work center, to guarantee the most massive participation of Albanians in the protest on Saturday, February 28.

This is our priority! Mobilize all forces and energies to fulfill this mission!
