Balluk/Gjikondi's immunity: A totally political decision by the SP and Edi Rama

Lawyer Brizida Gjikondi shared a comment today beyond the legal aspect regarding today's meeting on Belinda Balluku's immunity.

In a television studio, Gjikondi stated that this is a totally political decision, not hesitating to directly address the choice to Prime Minister Edi Rama.

"From a political point of view, the decision that was taken today not to lift the immunity of Mrs. Balluku. It is neither her wish nor that of her lawyers. I think it is a political decision of the SP or, better, specifically, Edi Rama. Because we know very well that the SP is run vertically, there is no collegiality or group decision-making. I am convinced that it is a political decision. It is pointless to deal with the part about whether or not he produced the evidence. I think it no longer depends on Mrs. Balluku. The decision not to release the mandate is totally political by Rama", said Gjikondi./ CNA
