Media: Interference by organized crime in the determination of deputies in the

MP and leader of the Republican Party, Fatmir Mediu, today accused organized crime and drug trafficking of interfering in the country's politics.

In a statement to "Syri TV", Mediu said that there is a manipulative process of building cooperation with the government.

According to the MP, all state attributes have been used as an electoral mechanism.

"We have voter intimidation, vote buying, which is a manipulative process built in collaboration with the government. We also have the intervention of organized crime and trafficking to determine deputies in the Albanian Parliament and to manipulate the elections in favor of the government. We have the use of all the attributes that the executive and the state have in the hands of a party to use them as an electoral mechanism", - said Mediu. /CNA
