Prime Minister Edi Rama was present at the Tirana Economic Forum this Wednesday.

During his speech, Rama focused on the security situation in Europe, describing Albania as a pillar of stability amid the numerous fluctuations occurring on the continent.

According to Rama, a series of recent transformations have turned the country into a development corridor from all sides.

“Albanians and Greeks have had their difficulties in understanding that geography is not a constraint, but to be more aware. A forum of ideas where Albania is no longer looking from the corner, but sees with confidence, foresight. Reality has changed. Albania is no longer seen as a distant corner on the map, but as a place where reforms are taking place. Transformations are daily, not slogans. In a Europe that is rethinking its security architecture, our country is like a pillar of stability, a reliable partner and a growing economy. We have a growing tourism sector, we are pushing digital transformation, reducing corruption, strengthening the state, salaries are increasing and there are very good steps. Nothing happens by accident, but through work and our growth story is not quantitative, but qualitative. And we say it with pride. Foreign direct investments in 2024 will reach 1.58 billion euros and the trend continues to grow. Capital goes where it goes "There is stability.
