Ardian Muka of the Durrës branch of the Democratic Party of Albania (DP) has publicly responded to Ervin Salianji. Muka called Salianji a political clown, rejecting accusations that he has something to do with Vangjush Dako.

He emphasized that Salianji will be remembered as the man who hit the Democrats with a stick.

"I didn't want to write about this political clown, who comes out of the PD's armored doors and comes in through the window like a "lion", but since he has been going from show to show for several days and mentioning me, asking me for an answer, I'm giving it to him today."

The citizens and democrats of Durres know very well that the only thing that connects me with Vangjush Dako are the electoral battles that I have waged against him and the political force that he represented in the last 20 years, where he has always had me as an opponent and never as a business partner (as far as I know, my concrete company has not operated in the market for 8 years, also thanks to the fierce war that Vangjush waged against his ideological and commercial competitors).

They had me face to face on March 22, 2022 as the Democratic candidate for mayor of Durres, where the PS and the gangs committed the next massacre.

They have confronted me in my civic battles in defense of the culture, tradition, and archaeology of my city.

 They have me in front of the municipal council where I protect the interests of citizens without any compromise.

Very different from the gentleman who expects an answer, who will be remembered among the Durres Democrats:

-as the negotiator for the sale of the 2015 local elections,

-as the coordinator of the distribution of Democratic votes in the 2022 local elections

-as the spoiler of the denunciation process that the Democratic Party was preparing against the chairman of the law commission, Xhafaj, for making laws in parliament in favor of his smuggler brother, with his Baballeqe

-and now by diverting the focus of the Democrats' battle from Balluku-Rama to the halls filled with branch leaders, who betrayed the interests of the Democrats in the 2025 elections, with tugboat workers, taxi drivers, security guards, etc., all honorable ladies and gentlemen, but who have no structural connection to the Durres PD

I have said it these days and I will repeat it, that the cause of human, structural, organizational, and ideological changes in the Democratic Party is a just cause that must be addressed within the structures as soon as possible, but that this just cause cannot be swallowed up by the wrong people.

Whatever happens, you, Mr. Salianji, will be remembered as the man who, with a stick in his hand, hit the democrats who thought differently from you!!!", writes Muka./ CNA
