Democratic MP Saimir Korreshi commented today on the signature process regarding the candidates running for the position of Ombudsman.

Invited to "Syri TV", Korreshi described it as a frivolous process and blamed the Socialist Party for this.

Korreshi said that the only interest in this process is obtaining signatures in support of the names that are part of the competition.

"For me, the first important moment is when we are told, or the leaders of the Democratic Party tell us, that this is a process that will not be done because we do not have an agreement with the Socialist Party, that the opposition should send its own name, that they do not want to do a process, and we do not have to become, to have absolutely any kind of individual who asks for signatures to support. That's it.
