Berisha's speech is expected at the Council of Europe Assembly/ Balla

The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, today ironized the interruption of the speech given to the Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

In a post on social media, Balla writes that Berisha is used to speaking endlessly on the floor of the Parliament and forgets the rules on the duration of speeches, as happens in European institutions.

"The owl is used to emptying its psychic stream for endless minutes on the floor of the Assembly. Meanwhile, in the Parliamentary Assembly or the parliaments of Europe, the time is 1-2 minutes. Look at how the chair of the session interrupts his speech. I'm not even commenting on the fact that he went there secretly. It's time for us to have these rules in the Assembly as well. 10-minute discussions are unimaginable in Europe," Balla writes./CNA
