Prime Minister Edi Rama delivered his speech at the 35th anniversary of the Socialist Party, where he spoke about the investment in Zvërnec.

Rama said that this investment will be the "greatest blessing" for the economy of all of Albania. He said that these types of investments fundamentally transform economies.  

"Montenegro is not comparable to Albania, which has two seas and 9 rivers. If 100 tourists come and leave every 30 days in this country, they make 3 thousand euros. If 10 tourists come and leave every 3,000 euros, they make 30 thousand euros. Imagine how much they bring in if 100 thousand tourists come and leave in this country many times more. Therefore, that question, what's there for me, is very wrong. Turkey managed to raise its own country when it introduced luxury resorts. Of course, ordinary people cannot get on a yacht, but yachts enter their economy.

That investment will become the great blessing of the economy of all of Albania. It will not only bring money, it will not only build villas and hotels, but it will bring a multiplied value in all these components outside its borders. This fundamentally transforms economies, not the dreams of the poor. Countries stagnate when they have poverty, not money for dreams. This country is only yours, Hitler only said to the Germans, and you saw how it ended. To say Albania of Albanians means to call for hatred for others. Albanians for Albania, not Albania of Albanians. This is not what Albania needs today. Albania needs both the voice of the imam and the voice of the priest ," Rama said. /CNA
