Gjergj Luca, to the rich: Albania is not only a cow to be milked, but also to be served

Gjergj Luca, to the rich: Albania is not only a cow to be milked, but also to be

At a time when the debate over the role of wealth and the responsibility of economic elites is more heated than ever, Gjergj Luca raises his voice with a call that transcends personal interest and goes to the core of social obligation: Albania is not a cow that can be milked endlessly, but a country that must be loved, respected and served.

With this direct and meaningful message, he strikes precisely at the conscience of those who have benefited from the opportunities and wealth of this country, but have often shown themselves indifferent to its needs.

His words do not remain just a poignant metaphor, but turn into an open appeal for collective responsibility: that wealth not be seen simply as a privilege, but as a means to build, contribute, and give something back to the homeland.

In this sense, Gjergj Luca's call is not just an arrow against the indifference of the rich, but an invitation to a new culture, where personal success is closely linked to dedication to the country and service to its future.

There are words that come as a jolt to the collective conscience, as a call that arises not from interest, but from pain for the country. The words of businessman Gjergj Luca are such: direct, sincere, irreproachable in their essence. He addresses the rich of Albania, not to deny their success, but to remind them of their responsibility. Because this country is not just a cow to be milked and exploited endlessly, but also a sacred land that seeks to be nourished, built and served with love and vision.

At a time when wealth is often seen simply as a personal privilege, not as a social responsibility, Gjergj Luca's words come as a strong, sincere, painful, and at the same time necessary cry: the rich must also be remembered for this country that gave them the opportunity to become so.

In his post, accompanied by a reflective video, Luca expresses himself with his heart in his hand:

"I am not a fining journalist, I am a compassionate businessman who loves his job, I love my entrepreneurial brothers, I want taxes to go to investments, I want my homeland to be equal in Europe!"

These words are not ordinary rhetoric. They are a call born of experience, of dedication, and of pain for a reality that is not what this country deserves. Because Albania is not simply a cow to be milked, but a sacred ground to be nourished with love, to be built with vision, and to be served with dignity.

After a night of celebrations in honor of Saint Mary, Luca brings a profound contrast: how can we celebrate the greatness of the divine and at the same time turn a blind eye to poverty, injustice, and deep social divisions?

He does not speak of a passing celebration, but of a painful state. And his “why” is not a futile question, but a piercing statement: the rich are locked in “modern ghettos,” cut off from the reality of the majority, creating a world surrounded by luxury and indifference, while outside them lives a voiceless, powerless, and dignityless crowd.

Luca does not deny their achievements. On the contrary, he recognizes their intelligence, skill, luck and energy that have made them powerful, wealthy and influential. But at the same time he reminds them that this country gave them the opportunity to become who they are today. Albania gave them the market, the people, the environment, the workers, the state – despite its weaknesses – and the entire context in which they built their empires.

Therefore, his call is not one of hatred or contempt, but an invitation to responsibility. He asks them to turn this power and wealth into the service of the country: in the establishment of a strategic elite tourism, in the creation of Albanian brands with international weight, in the development of the national economy, in the potentialization of the resources and assets that nature has abundantly blessed this country.

Essentially, Luca invites the rich not to forget the people. Not to forget that the honest workers, farmers, servants, artisans, miners are the foundation that made their wealth possible. Not to forget that Albania is not their private property, but a country that deserves to become a worthy home for all.

This is not a sentimental appeal. It is a warning that the future cannot be built solely on selfishness and greed. Because a wealthy elite that is disconnected from the people does not create development, but division. It does not create progress, but an abyss between the classes.

Therefore, Gjergj Luca's words should be heard and applauded not for his personal courage, but for the necessity of the message:

Albania is not just to be exploited, but to be built. Wealth is not just a privilege, but also a responsibility. The rich should not only be beneficiaries, but also contributors.

In this land of martyrs, in this country blessed with natural wealth, with hardworking people and with extraordinary potential, it is not enough to live for yourself. You must also live for Albania. And this is the challenge that Luca leaves us all as a legacy: to not forget the country that made us who we are.
