Dear Santa,

Since the end of the year is coming and you're the only one still keeping promises in this place of ours, I thought I'd send you a wish list for our much-loved government. There are not many. One for each month.

1. A bunch of new promises that seem sincere, because now that we are close to the elections and the old promises have been worn out so much that they all seem like copy-paste from previous years.

2. A transparent budget! Not very transparent, but enough that the disappearance of money does not seem like magic.

3. An app for corruption! A simple, practical one that saves us the annoying question: where does the money go?

4. An edict prohibiting the construction of (towers) for one year. As much as TikTOK just to find out if the government knows how to do anything other than concrete.

5. A law to prohibit lying in campaigns. Since we are in a time of bans, maybe we should also ban lies.

6. An election campaign without loud songs and especially please spare us the song "Po ku ka si ti moj Albania ime". It is a song that everyone likes, but it is experienced differently by the ministers and differently by the people.

7. More green spaces, or at least, Santa, more tree murals on concrete.

8. A manual for honesty in government and administration, with illustrations, that perhaps only words do not understand.

9. A Free Speech Handbook: To teach everyone how to respond to criticism without deleting Facebook comments, blocking and reporting critical voices, and shutting down social media platforms.

10. A time machine for the opposition: To go back to an era when they had a clear idea of ??what they wanted to do.

11. An alarm clock for the government to wake up when the people protest. That it seems as if he is always asleep.

12. A responsive robot so that when something goes wrong, we no longer hear "TikTok, the opposition, or the citizens are to blame." The robot raises its hand and says without shaking from the batteries: "It's my fault."

12 wishes might seem like a lot, but you've always been generous (or so the kids say). If you don't fulfill all the wishes, at least make sure to keep us entertained. It's the only thing they can't take away from us.
