James Cameron reveals the title of the third Avatar film

Director James Cameron has announced the title of his new film Avatar, "Fire and Ash".

He made a surprise appearance at an event hosted by the Disney giant in California, and joined the film's stars, Zoe Saldana and Sam Worthington, to reveal details of the film, which will premiere in 2025. .

The science fiction film follows 2009's Avatar and the 2022 sequel Avatar: The Way Of Water.

"The new movie is not the one you expect, but it's definitely the one you need," Cameron told an audience of over 12,000 people.

The 69-year-old director has said that the new film is created with a new concept that excites the imagination, and that will have characters in the sky and surrounded by fire.

He also said that the audience "will want to hate" a new character.

"You will see more of the planets, something you have never seen before."

The new film is expected to premiere on December 19, 2025./ REL
