Albanian cinematography icon Margarita Xhepa has passed away at the age of 91.
The news was confirmed by her son, actor Ndriçim Xhepa, to Tv Klan. According to information, Xhepa has recently been suffering from lung problems.
Yesterday, April 2, Margarita Xhepa celebrated her 91st birthday. Margarita Xhepa is one of the Great Ladies of Albanian theater and film who has carved the memory of the Albanian public with brilliant roles since her beginnings, in the 60s and until now.
In May 2004, she returned to the stage of the National Theater to excel in the drama "Streha e të harruarve", another success in her 50-year career.
She has played over 150 roles in theater, among which we can mention: Majlinda in the film "Majlinda", Dafina in "The Dead River", Filja in "The Little Girl of the Mountains", Mrs. Mother in "Who Brought Doruntina", Mother in "In Front of Yourself"./ CNA
