“Anastasi: The Revival of a Church”/ A documentary film about the

Metropolitan Demetrius of France, President of AEOF, and Father Jivko Panev, producer of the television program Orthodoxie on France 2, on Wednesday, February 5 at 7:00 PM, at the Greek Cathedral of Saint Stephen, will present a documentary film on the life of Archbishop Anastasios Janullatos to all Albanians and Orthodox believers around the world.

The title of this documentary is "Anastasi: The Resurrection of a Church".

This documentary film will show the testimonies of the life and work of Archbishop Anastasius of Albania, a majestic figure of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania who passed away on January 25, 2025.

The documentary shows the journey of Archbishop Anastasios, known for his tireless commitment to the spiritual and material reconstruction of Christian communities, both in Africa and in Albania.

The performance will be followed by a time of discussion with people who knew the Archbishop during his lifetime, who will share their testimonies on the Archbishop's spiritual and evangelical legacy.

The documentary produced by France Televisions Studio will be broadcast on February 16 at 9:30 as part of the France 2 program "Orthodoxy".
