For the first time in Albania, with the selection of the city of Korça, an electronic music festival was held for all young people who are passionate about it. The Youth Park became for two nights in a row the epicenter of korçars and tourists, who have come together to enjoy and dance to the rhythms of electronic songs. A fantastic view with the special location between fresh air and pine trees, illuminated by colorful lights, bringing a rare sight to this area.
The young people from Korça and many young people from the cities of Albania and abroad have filled the park to the brim, supporting and enjoying the music they prefer the most, electronic music. DJs from Albania and beyond have become part of the festival, with their special performances, while the highlight of this event was precisely the well-known Turkish DJ, Burak Yeter.
Burak Yeter is one of the most popular DJs around the world, and Korça was lucky enough to have him as part of its events several times. Yeter says that he is quite satisfied with this great participation of young people, who have written him thousands of messages on social networks. He considers this nature as magic, located in the middle of the forest and with the green color that is his favorite.

"I am very happy to be here especially when there are so many young people and today they wrote me thousands of messages on Instagram. From this I understand that tonight will be fantastic, with a lot of energy, with this beautiful location between forest and I'm really happy to be here. I've come to Korça before, but this is the first time. I'm very excited about the location ", I really like the forest, the color green is my favorite and I will be playing inside the "green" for the first time. I have a very nice music selection for you today."
Dj Erta is a girl originally from Korça who has made her participation in "Lumina Electronic" even more special. For three years, she has taken up the profession of DJ, saying that it started as a passion since childhood, while she says that this event and this type of music is a novelty for young people who explore different musical currents.
"I really like that there are events like this that allow so many people to gather and have fun. And above all, that the desire for electronic music is growing in Albania. I have been doing this profession for about 3 years, in fact I have had a passion for music that little. I really like to see that people enjoy and dance. It's a new thing because people explore different music streams and not what they're used to hearing on a daily basis. Very happy, a lot of people beautiful and good. I think Korça can do both serenades and electronic music."
The representative of the organization "Tourism for Albania" Bledar Leka has shown more details about this idea and organization of "Lumina Electronic". Leka says that this is a project organized for the first time in Korça and in Albania, while it aims to attract many tourists to the city. Among other things, he revealed the next event, which will be one of the most important in Korça, the serenades festival that will take place in September and will be another great event for the city.

"The festival of this kind is the first to be organized in Albania, a special concept that we brought to Korça for the first time. "Lumina Electronic" is a combination between electronic music and visual effects with lighting. This is a project within of the project for tourism that we are implementing in the municipality of Korça, financed by the European Development Bank and implemented by the Albanian Development Fund. This project aims to develop tourism in the municipality of Korça. We thought that Korça i a youth event was missing, and through this event we intend to bring young people not only from the region but also from outside Albania. It is not the only event that will be organized, in September we are preparing another very traditional event with the serenades of Korça. We all know Korça for the serenades, but we thought to turn it into a brand with a completely new concert that will promote Korça inside and outside the territory."
The Municipality of Korça, in cooperation with the Albanian Development Fund, is also taking the best care in this summer season to bring special activities to the city that are liked not only by Korça residents but also by tourists. For the vice-mayor of the municipality Benila Themeli, "Lumina Electronic" has achieved a great success, beyond expectations and will be part of the calendar of activities in the summer every year, turning it into a tradition for young people. Themeli has shown that the hotels of Korça these two nights of the festival have been booked by young people coming from every corner of Albania precisely for "Lumina Electronic".

"The municipality has added a new event to Korça with the organization of "Lumina Electronic", the festival which this year is in its first edition and will become an annual tradition. Given that Korça became the first model in Albania to created event tourism, with the support of the Albanian Development Fund, the municipality of Korçë has created two new festivals for the summer, "Lumina Electronic" which has achieved a success beyond our expectations and will be on the calendar of summer activities, and in September will to come "Korça Serenades", the international serenade festival that will be the next big attraction of Korça for visitors. The festival has been very well received, the first night has had the curiosity of Korça residents, today marks hotels booked by young people who have come from every corner of Albania to attend the festival."
From yesterday evening until the early hours of the morning, young people and citizens of Kor?are, together with local and foreign visitors, have enjoyed the electronic music played by different DJs, as well as the nature with the pine trees around, with the air of clean, and with temperatures that have been normal during these two nights due to the strategic location of the event in Park Rinia. Turkish DJ Burak Yeter kept alive the emotions of the public who applauded and supported him throughout his performance. "Lumina Electronic" will already be a tradition of the southeastern city, for all electronic music enthusiasts, starting this year, and with even higher expectations for the following years./ CNA
