The police in Tirana have arrested 4 people, spouses IS, 73 years old and Sh. S., 68 years old, their daughter RS, 48 years old, as well as a bank employee with the initials EI

From the investigations it turned out that IS citizens, Sh. S. and RS had deceived a person for several years with the claim that they would influence to register a piece of land in the competent bodies.

Citizens of Sh. S. and RS were caught red-handed taking 30,000 from this citizen for this purpose. The employee of the bank with the initials EI was arrested because it is suspected that, in violation of the law, she transferred a sum of money from the defrauded citizen to her own account, which she then handed over to the citizens Sh. S. and RS

Police Notification:

The coded police operation "Utopia" is finalized, after an intensive investigation to bring to justice the perpetrators of a case of fraud involving significant sums of money.

The operation, from the Directorate for the Investigation of Economic-Financial Crimes in the DPPSH, in cooperation with the Directorate of the Special Operational Force, the Pogradec Police Station and the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana.

They were caught red-handed taking 30,000 euros from a citizen, after they had deceived him that they would influence him to register his property, 3 citizens (family members of each other) were put in handcuffs.

Also in handcuffs is a 31-year-old bank employee, who allegedly, contrary to the law, transferred a sum of money that served this fraud case.

30,000 euros, 1 vehicle and 10 mobile phones were seized.

As a result of an investigation followed with proactive methods, for the documentation with legal evidence of a case of fraud with serious consequences, which was carried out for several years, by a husband and wife couple and their daughter, the coded police operation "Utopia" was finalized. within which the IS citizens, 73 years old and Sh. S., 68 years old, spouses, their daughter, RS citizen, 48 years old, all three living in Pogradec, as well as EI citizen, 31 years old, living in Tirana.

During the investigation period, it was proven that IS citizens, Sh. S. and RS had deceived a citizen for several years, with the claim that they would influence the competent bodies to register a piece of land. Citizens of Sh. S. and RS were caught red-handed taking 30,000 from this citizen for this purpose. Meanwhile, the citizen EI, an employee in a second-level bank, was arrested because it is suspected that, contrary to the law, she transferred a sum of money from the defrauded citizen to her own account, which she then handed over to the citizens Sh. S. and RS.

As material evidence, 30,000 euros, 1 vehicle, 10 cell phones and other documents that will serve the investigation were seized, with the aim of bringing all the citizens involved in this case to justice.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office, for further actions, for the criminal offense "Fraud", with serious consequences, committed in collaboration. /CNA
