The Tirana police have arrested two employees of OSHEE, AP, 54 years old and RK, 63 years old, who are accused of having money from a citizen for the reimbursement of electricity and changing the tariff for his bakery business. 

During the arrests, 500,000 ALL and 3 mobile phones were seized. 

Police Notification: 

Regarding the case broadcast last night, in the investigative show "Fiks Fare", which was about 2 employees of OSHEE, who took different amounts of money from a citizen, in order to reimburse electricity and change the tariff for its subject (bakery), we inform you that:

Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, after the release of the footage, organized the work under the direction of the Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime, for the capture and legal responsibility of the citizens appearing in the video.

Following the actions, the specialists of the Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Section of DVP Tirana arrested the following citizens:

- AP, 54 years old and RK, 63 years old, both residents of Tirana, for the criminal offense "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions".

500,000 ALL and 3 mobile phones were seized as material evidence.

The procedural materials were passed to the Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime, for further actions.

The Tirana Local Police Directorate thanks the investigative show "Fiks Fare", the media and the citizens, who denounce cases of illegality and invites them again to denounce every case of illegality, at the number 112, guaranteeing complete anonymity and immediate response and unbiased./ CNA
