A police operation has led to the discovery of a three-story building in Elbasan, which was suspected of being used for prostitution and the distribution of narcotics.

According to the official announcement, specialists from the Elbasan Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the structures for Traffic Investigation and Operational Support, finalized the operation codenamed "Streha", after an investigation conducted in coordination with the Prosecutor's Office.

During the intervention in the facility located in the "Visarjon Xhuvani" neighborhood, four foreign nationals from Colombia and the Dominican Republic, aged between 25 and 35, were arrested in flagrante delicto, who were suspected of practicing prostitution and distributing narcotics.

During the searches of the villa premises, approximately 0.5 kg of Cannabis Sativa, 35.3 grams of Cocaine, amounts of money, sporting weapons, mobile phones and other items related to criminal activity were seized.

The investigations have also led to the identification of the suspected organizer of this activity, a 56-year-old citizen, who has been declared wanted and work continues to capture him.

"DVP Elbasan/The codenamed "Streha" operation is finalized, as a result of an investigation with proactive methods, pursued by the Elbasan Police, under the supervision of the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office.

It is revealed that in a 3-story building, in the "Visarjon Xhuvani" neighborhood, prostitution was practiced and narcotics such as Cocaine and Cannabis Sativa were sold.

Four citizens from Colombia and the Dominican Republic, involved in these criminal activities, were arrested on the premises of the facility.

The organizer is identified and declared wanted. 0.5 kg of the narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa, 35.3 g of the narcotic substance Cocaine, sums of money, sports weapons, cell phones and other items related to the two criminal activities are seized.

Specialists of the investigative structures of the Elbasan Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with specialists of the Traffic Investigation and Operational Support sections, as a result of an intensive investigation, with proactive methods, carried out in coordination with the Elbasan Prosecutor's Office, with the aim of documenting with legal evidence the establishment of a multi-storey building, in the "Visarjon Xhuvani" neighborhood, in function of several criminal activities, finalized the operation codenamed "Streha".

During the raid on the facility, foreign nationals BM, 35 years old, DG, 27 years old, LM, 25 years old, and JB, 33 years old, were arrested in flagrante delicto.

The investigation revealed that they practiced prostitution in the 3-story building, as well as selling the narcotics Cocaine and Cannabis Sativa to citizens who benefited from this criminal activity.

Also, the investigation identified the organizer of these criminal activities, citizen AT, 56 years old, for whose location and capture, the Police continue to work intensively.
