Arsenal of weapons and drugs discovered/Father and son arrested

Fier Police have finalized the police operation codenamed "New Start 2", cracking down on a criminal activity of selling narcotics and possessing weapons.

As a result of a month-long investigation by the Narcotics Investigation Sector of the Fier Police Department, in cooperation with the Fier Prosecutor's Office and with the support of the Operational Forces and the "Eagles", citizen AH, 34 years old, resident of the village of Suk, Roskovec, was arrested.

During the operation, police stopped the 34-year-old at the exit of the village of Suk, where about 1 kilogram of the narcotic cannabis sativa was found in his vehicle, divided into doses ready for sale.

Following the search of the apartment and premises owned by him and his father, the Police seized 17.6 kilograms of suspected narcotic cannabis sativa, processed and divided into doses, as well as an arsenal of weapons, including 2 pistols, 2 automatic weapons, 2 combat grenades and 1110 combat cartridges of various calibers. 2 mobile phones and 1 motor vehicle were also seized.

As part of the investigation, the 34-year-old's father, citizen AH, 61 years old, was also arrested.

The police, in cooperation with the Fier Prosecutor's Office, continue to work on the complete legal documentation of the case.
