Injured in Gramsh/ Father, son and injured person arrested in flagrante delicto

Two father and son citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto after seriously injuring a 34-year-old man with hard objects.

The incident occurred for weak motives and citizens RD, 51, and RD, 27, were arrested.

Also, a 34-year-old man was arrested shortly after, allegedly threatening one of the arrested with a knife.

Announcement:

The services of the Gramsh Police Commissariat, immediately after receiving notification of a conflict at the location called the "Agriculture Department", intervened to prevent the conflict from escalating.

As a result of swift police action, the following citizens (father and son) were caught and arrested in flagrante delicto:

-RD, 51 years old, resident of Gramsh, for the criminal offenses of "Intentional serious injury", committed in collaboration, and "Unlicensed production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons";

-RD, 27 years old, resident of Gramsh, for the criminal offense of "Intentional serious injury", committed in collaboration.

Also, citizen KT, 34 years old, resident of Gramsh, was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses of "Threat" and "Unlicensed production, possession, purchase or sale of cold weapons."

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that on the evening of 04.01.2026, citizen RD and his son hit citizen KT, 34 years old, with fists and hard objects, for weak motives, who is under the care of doctors, out of danger to his life.

A cutting tool (knife) was found at the scene, which is suspected to have been possessed by citizen KT and that he used it to threaten the 27-year-old.

During the physical search, a multifunctional item was found on citizen RD, which was seized and will be subjected to technical examination.

The procedural materials will be referred to the Prosecutor 's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Elbasan, for further action./CNA
