A 32-year-old man has been extradited from Greece, after being internationally wanted for an assault committed in Durrës in 2024.

Citizen AM injured citizen BF several times with a knife-type cutting tool, during a conflict over weak motives, in the "Plazh" neighborhood.

The Durrës Court has imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison" on him, for the criminal offense of "Intentional serious injury".

As a result of the coordination of operational actions between specialists from the Interpol Directorate and their counterparts in Athens, the procedure for the extradition from Greece to Albania of citizen AM, 32 years old, born in Bulqiza, was finalized, following the international operation codenamed "The Wanted".

The 32-year-old was wanted internationally, because in 2024, the Durrës Court assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense of "Intentional serious injury".

Citizen AM is accused of having, on the evening of 06.10.2022, for weak motives, wounded citizen BF several times with a cutting tool (knife), in neighborhood no. 13, Durrës ./CNA
