Contraband goods and false documents/ 6 Chinese citizens and one Belarusian

Police have arrested 6 Chinese citizens and 1 Belarusian citizen, who attempted to cross the border with false documents.

During the search, Rinas police also found some smuggled goods, which were seized as material evidence.

During the search, the arrested persons presented their passports, which turned out to be forged.

Detailed checks at the entrance and exit of the Republic of Albania resulted in the detection of 6 cases of attempted illegal border crossing and 1 case of smuggling.

6 Chinese citizens and 1 Belarusian citizen are arrested.

6 false documents and a quantity of smuggled goods are seized.

As a result of controls and verifications, the Rinas Border Police services cracked down on 6 cases of attempts to cross the border with false documents.

At the end of the procedural actions, citizens MB, 29 years old, X. Zh., 66 years old, Zh. ?., 52 years old, HJ, 45 years old, ?. Zh., 38 years old and citizen GH, 43 years old, all Chinese citizens, were arrested in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense of "Forgery of passports, identity cards or visas, committed in collaboration".

During the inspection of the documentation of these citizens, they presented Hong Kong passports, which the Border Police services suspected were forged.

Upon laboratory examination, the passports turned out to be forged.

 

Also, during the check of the entry documentation, the citizen A. ?., 45 years old, with Belarusian citizenship, who was traveling on the Treviso-Tirana route, was suspicious during the interview by the Police officer about the purpose of the trip to the Republic of Albania and for this reason was passed for a second line check.

During the physical and baggage search, a quantity of goods for aesthetic purposes (botox and fillers) were found and seized from citizen A. ?., which require special conditions for transportation, as well as a special license for possession and use, which this citizen did not have.

Following the actions, the citizen A. Õ. was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses of "Smuggling of prohibited goods" and "Smuggling of licensed goods".

 

Controls and verifications will continue.

 

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
