They were selling cannabis and cocaine near schools/ 9 citizens in handcuffs in

Nine citizens were arrested during a police operation, based on information obtained operationally by the Durrës Police, after the criminal activity of selling narcotics near schools in the city of Kavaja. 

As a result of investigative and operational actions, it became possible to legally document the criminal activity of the citizens involved in this network of selling narcotics, as well as the execution of the security measure "Arrest in prison" for 9 of the 12 citizens who are accused by the Court for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics".

Specifically, the security measure "Arrest in prison" was executed for 9 citizens aged 20 - 48, all residents of Kavaja.

In addition, 3 other accused citizens, residents of Kavaja, were declared wanted. Work continues to locate and capture them.

Investigations suspect that these citizens, in collaboration with each other, were carrying out the illegal activity of selling narcotics near schools in the city of Kavaja.   

During the operation, quantities of suspected narcotics, Cocaine and Cannabis Sativa, divided into doses, as well as several cell phones, were seized as material evidence. 

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor 's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further investigative actions./CNA
