A police officer was injured this evening with a gunshot while escorting a 45-year-old man. According to police information, the incident occurred while the police were escorting citizen ZS, suspected of the criminal offense of "Disturbing the Public Peace".

During the escort, the 45-year-old took the service weapon of police officer AT, 20, and wounded him. Other officers neutralized the 45-year-old and took his weapon. During the physical search, narcotics were also found on him.

Meanwhile, the injured officer was transported to the hospital for medical assistance and is out of danger. At around 19:00, the services of the Kuçovë Police Commissariat were escorting citizen ZS, 45 years old, resident of Kuçovë, from the Fier Police Commissariat to the premises of the Kuçovë Police Commissariat, suspected of the criminal offense of "Disturbing public peace".
