Criminal incident prevented in Vlora/ 39-year-old armed man arrested

A 39-year-old man has been arrested in Vlora after he had a conflict with a person and was carrying a pistol with a magazine loaded with cartridges.

Citizen A. Sh. was arrested after he was seen attempting to hide the firearm he had with him in a flowerbed.

According to police information, the 39-year-old had a conflict with citizen BJ, 30, in a bar, for weak motives.

A 39-year-old man was arrested after he had a conflict with a citizen, for weak motives, and was carrying a firearm, a pistol with a magazine loaded with cartridges.

The pistol is seized.

The structures of the Vlora Local Police Directorate, yesterday evening, after receiving a report of a conflict in the premises of a bar in the "Uji i Ftohtë" neighborhood, immediately intervened to prevent its escalation.

As a result of quick action, citizen A. Sh. was arrested, who, as soon as the Police services noticed, attempted to hide the firearm, a pistol, that he was carrying with him, in a flowerbed.

Investigations suspect that this citizen had a conflict with citizen BJ, 30 years old, resident of Vlora, in a bar, for weak motives.

At the end of the procedural actions, citizen A. Sh., 39 years old, resident of Vlora, was arrested in flagrante delicto, while the pistol with ammunition was seized as material evidence.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
