Carrying a weapon without a license/ 28-year-old man arrested

A case of illegal possession of weapons has been cracked in Tirana. As a result, a 28-year-old man has been arrested,

A pistol-type firearm was found hidden in the young man's attic.

The 28-year-old's gun and cell phone were seized as evidence.

Tirana/Police Station No. 6 is finalizing the operation codenamed "Stairs". Another case of illegal possession of a firearm is being investigated.

The 28-year-old was arrested after hiding a pistol in the attic of his apartment.

The arrested person's firearm and cell phone were seized.

Following successive operations, with a focus on the arrest of citizens who violate the security of citizens by carrying firearms without a permit, these operations developed as a result of controls and operational work, by the services of Police Commissariat No. 6, the operation codenamed "Stairs" was finalized.

During the operation, citizen AM, 28 years old, resident of the village of Pezë e Vogël, was arrested in flagrante delicto.

During a search of his apartment, a pistol firearm was found hidden in the attic, which was being held without a permit by the arrested person.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action .
